Breaking the Bondage

Focus on helping those who have been or are in bondage through substance abuse. Meeting Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Student Ministry Building.

Prayer Warriors

  1. A person who becomes part of this ministry will be coupled with three to five other people.
  2. Is a person who strongly believes that God honors prayer and uses it to accomplish great things.
  3. Each person prays from there own home for each person in his or her "prayer cell" on a daily basis.
  4. Each prayer cell of Prayer Warriors will pray for certain needs connected with ministry of this church.
  5. Each prayer cell will pray for the pastoral staff of this church on a weekly basis.
  6. You will have a prayer partner that you will be strongly encouraged to be in contact with through a phone call, or email and if possible, a personal contact on a weekly basis.
  7. Periodically, all prayer cells will meet for training. (1-2 times a year)
  8. Periodically, all prayer cells will meet for a prayer gathering. (1-2 times a year)

The Primary Focus of Small Groups:

  1. Fellowship:  People need to know that others care and are willing to take the time to listen to their issues that matter to them.  They need support & encouragement.
  2. Prayer:  One of the most essential, responsibilities of every Chrisitan is prayer.  In a group setting people gain confidence to pray as they hear others pray and see their prayers being answered.  In a small group you KNOW your entire group is regularly praying for you.
  3. Bible Study:  Spending time learning & sharing practical ways to incorporate biblical truths is vital to our spiritual maturity.  The small group setting provides a unique & safe opportunity for such grouwth.
