Before I tell you about the elusive Quarry, I would like to give you this scripture from Nehemiah 4:19-20;
I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "The work is great and extensive,
and we are separated on the wall far from one another. At whatever place you hear the
sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us."
Pastor Jim used these verses this last Wednesday for his Bible study, little did he know how important they are to us. The work we have engaged ourselves in is great and extensive, but "Our God will fight for us."
Since this is a great and extensive work, the enemy is (and has been) working hard to stop it. Throughout the last couple of months we have encountered:
just to mention a few of the things we've encountered. But you know what? Our God has been fighting for us!
Though this great and extensive ministry endeavor has been taking longer than any of us anticipated, it wasn't anything that our awesome God didn't anticipate. He has given us a very godly, competent civil engineer to help oversee the site plan approval, just as God appointed Nehemiah to oversee the building of the wall of Jerusalem and the temple. Even though we have run into snags at the township, God has seen us through them...And guess what, things are still proceeding!
It is looking very good now that we should have site plan approval by late August. That means, by mid-September we will begin The Quarry.
Continue to be patient, and continue to be in prayer for (this) work (which) is great and extensive, and At whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.
