Often we treat God as if he is an ominous being who cannot relate to us as humans. But this could not be farther from the truth! The Bible says, “Jesus gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”
God is not ominous, but is sympathetic, and understands all of our struggles because of Jesus. It all began that very night when Christ was born in a manger.
Whether this is your first time hearing about Jesus and salvation, or you’ve been a believer for years, cry out to Christ. Allow Him to shoulder your burdens, weaknesses, and the weight of your sin. If you haven’t before, trust Him in salvation and walk as a new creation. Look to Jesus as your compassionate Savior, given because of God the Father’s relentless love for His creation.
